Following the success of its Pen Pal Program, United Jewish Federation (UJF) is excited to reopen registration and welcome new families to take part in this cross-cultural experience, facilitated by Eden Refaelovich, UJF’s Shlichah (Israeli emissary). This unique initiative fostered meaningful connections between families in Israel and families from Stamford, New Canaan, and Darien.
A family from Stamford shares, “We’ve really been enjoying the Pen Pal Family Program. Over the summer, we’ve been communicating with our pen pals on WhatsApp, sharing photos, videos, and stories about what we’ve been up to. Our son even sends short video messages directly to their older son, speaking a little Hebrew in them."
“This pen pal experience shows how connection can cross oceans and bring our worlds closer together, a simple but powerful way to create new friendships,” shared Cara, also from Stamford.
To be part of this program, create meaningful connections across continents, share traditions, and build lifelong friendships - act now and build a bridge that lasts at www.ujf.org/penpal.
