On May 7, United Jewish Federation of Stamford, New Canaan, and Darien hosted two screenings of the documentary “October 8” at the AMC Landmark 8 Theatre in Stamford, which gave an insightful look into the explosion of antisemitism on college campuses, social media, and on the streets of America since the October 7 attacks. Asaf Romirowsky, executive director of Scholars for Peace in the Middle East and co-author of Religion, Politics, and the Origins of Palestine Refugee Relief, and Talia Kahn, a PhD student at MIT and featured in the film, engaged in meaningful dialogue with attendees.
