On Tuesday, August 26, UJF Deputy Director Eric Ross was honored to be a guest at the grand opening celebration of Ricotta, the newest kosher restaurant in Stamford. Rabbi Eli Raskin of the Jewish Israeli Center of New Haven was on hand to hang a new mezuzah and say the Shehecheyanu, a traditional Jewish prayer to celebrate new occasions.
This is owner Yaacov Atia’s second Ricotta location, after the original in New Haven. Ricotta is located inside the Armon Hotel at 2701 Summer Street, Stamford, and has an extensive pizza, pasta, and sushi menu.
