When you call the offices at UJF, Lara Agatstein is there to greet you with a warm ‘Shalom’.
Having recently joined the staff at United Jewish Federation of Stamford, New Canaan, and Darien, Lara serves as the new administrative assistant where she works closely with CEO Diane Sloyer, Office Manager Taly Farber, and the UJF office staff in coordinating events, department programs, board meetings, and conferences.
"I love being part of the Jewish community...helping coordinate cool UJF events and programs, it really shows the impact that Federation makes and that we have on people," Lara shared.
Prior to her position at Federation, Lara served as a customer service manager for a local department store in Stamford where she evaluated and supervised customer service team members and found enjoyment in the daily face-to-face interactions of working with clients and co-workers. Now, she brings that experience and love for helping others to United Jewish Federation. Lara lives in Stamford with her nine-year-old son and likes swimming, basketball, soccer, and loves spending time with family.
We are excited to welcome Lara to UJF!
