New Around Town - Jillian Moore

United Jewish Federation of Stamford, New Canaan, and Darien is proud to announce that Jillian Moore has joined the staff as UJF’s new Director of Programming and Engagement, where she will be focusing on NextGen, Women’s Philanthropy, PJ Library, and volunteer engagement.

Jillian is a South Florida native who moved to Connecticut to attend The Hartt School, where she obtained her BFA in Music Theater with a minor in Performance Arts Management. During her time in school, she discovered her love for building meaningful Jewish connections while working as a religious school teacher at her local synagogue and taking on various board positions at Hillel and her Jewish sorority. After college, she worked as the Youth Engagement Coordinator at Congregation Kol Tikvah in Parkland, Florida, where she engaged teens in fun and engaging programming. Most recently, she worked as the Manager of Youth Education Administration at Temple Shaaray Tefila on the Upper East Side, where she supported all the logistical, administrative, and operational functions of the religious school.

Jillian has enjoyed working in various facets of the Jewish life ecosystem and is passionate about spreading Jewish joy. She can’t wait to make a difference in the community.
