Calling All Lions of Judah

Join United Jewish Federation of Stamford, New Canaan and Darien (UJF) for an exclusive evening of connection, inspiration, and community dedicated to Lion of Judah supporters—women making a difference in our community through gifts (individual or family) of $5,000 or more. The event will take place at a private residence on September 18, starting at 6:00 pm. The cost is $50 per person.

The Lion of Judah is an internationally recognized symbol of women’s philanthropy created by Jewish Federations of North America, representing women who make significant philanthropic contributions to support Jewish causes through the local Federation. Donors embody leadership, compassion, and a commitment to strengthening Jewish life locally and globally.

Nancy Mimoun, a past UJF president, is chairing this evening. She shared, “I am excited we will have the opportunity as a group of committed and like-minded women to delve into what it means to live "beyond the Lion pin"—exploring deep connections, identity, and impact.”

“We look forward to welcoming guest speaker, jewelry designer Freida Rothman, known for her Jewishly inspired pieces that blend contemporary style with meaningful heritage. She will share the stories behind her creations,” Mimoun continued.

The evening will include dinner, great company and a special gift designed by Freida Rothman for each attendee.
