United Jewish Federation brings the community together annually to commemorate Yom Hashoah, Holocaust Remembrance Day.

Remembering together those individuals lost in the Shoah has been an historic practice for our community. Working with the Board of Rabbis and volunteers, the community gathers to hear from a speaker and to honor local families with a candle lighting ceremony.

In addition, a visual exhibit is incorporated at the comemoration and is displayed throughout the community.  Every name has a face and a story and by spotlighting local stories, we bare witness and remember.
