The Jewish Community Center's Volunteer Coordinator will actively identify volunteer opportunities within the Greater Stamford, New Canaan and Darien areas. They will work with the Jewish Community Center, Schoke Jewish Family Service and United Jewish Federation along with other organizations to identify both needs and opportunities for volunteers.  Agencies may have needs that volunteers can fill including but not limited to human resources; information technology; law; business development; accounting; marketing; journalism; education and recreation.

There are currently many wonderful volunteer opportunities within the Jewish community and having one centralized database to access the information will provide a seamless experience for volunteers. The Volunteer Coordinator will develop a database and engage with potential volunteers to find meaningful opportunities for them based on their skills set, interests and communal needs.

UJF is marketing and fundraising for this program and 12% has been added to program costs to partially cover these efforts. Please note, only UJF is fundraising for this program.
