The Jewish holiday of Sukkot is celebrated by spending time in small, temporary huts. These huts, also called Sukkot, are reminders of the temporary dwellings the Israelites lived in during their journey from Egypt to the Promised Land of Israel. There is also a tradition of inviting guests into our Sukkot to share our shelter with them.
As we enter the holiday of Sukkot, join us to talk and learn about people who may not have had shelter whom we can welcome into our community.
