This lecture on Jews in Italy, hosted by Professor Joel Blatt, will focus on fascism from 1922-1945. Here, Mussolini's accelerated Anti-Semitism will be traced, from its start in 1934 to its climax in 1938 with the emancipation of Jews and the start of harsh persecution. Additionally, the talk will discuss Carlo and Nello Rosselli, two Antifascist resisters.
