Temple Sinai will host Judy Batalion, writer of "The Light of Days: The Untold Story of Women Resistance Fighters in Hitler’s Ghettos" for the fourth annual Joan Bruder Danoff Lecture on May 19, 2024 at 4:00 pm. This acclaimed author will be available to discuss not only the extraordinary stories of the young women resistance fighters she has chronicled but also the implications of their story for events today.

Sisterhood has chosen "The Light of Days" as its spring Book Club selection and will hold a discussion for all members shortly after the Danoff Lecture has taken place.

The Danoff Lecture honors Joan and Dr. Stuart Danoff and was endowed by their three children, Nancy Danoff, Suzy Poneman, and Will Danoff. It is free and open to the community. Contact the Temple office at 203-322-1649.
