Each year, Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA) lobbies for a number of appropriations sign-on letters that highlight our priority funding asks. These letters are signed by members of Congress and then sent to the relevant members of the House Appropriations Committee, indicating their support for these funding items as the committee begins its work on the FY27 appropriations bill.
JFNA specifically supported the following six bipartisan letters, which showcase a range of issues we are lobbying on – including security funding, support for Israel’s vital defense needs, support for Holocaust survivors, and more.
The following members of Congress from Connecticut have already signed on to the following letters. Please keep in mind that a member not signing on to a letter does not necessarily indicate an active decision on their part against the request.
