Super Sunday is Super for Kids!!
December 2nd at the JCC
Every Child Makes a Gift 9:30am-3:00pm
Calling kids of all ages!! Bring your full tzedakah (charity) baggies to Super Sunday. Throw the money into the Penny Arcade and receive your own UJF Tzedakah Certificate and a thank you listing in the New Jewish Voice!
11:00am-12:00pm and 1:00 pm-2:00 pm
Pre-schoolers and Kindergartners can join us for fun crafts and a chance to hear
popular PJ Library books read with Vivan Newman, PJ Library educational consultant,
book selection committee and author.
Your Donation Hard at Work In Stamford
Provide one hour of special needs tutoring to a Synagogue Hebrew School student through the Bureau of Jewish Education for $55. Grant Jewish Family Service one hour of counseling for a troubled family for $120. Supply the JCC Senior Nutrition Program with one week of kosher lunches for five people for $200.
Enable Kulanu, Benson Zinbarg Jewish Education for Teens, to run an anti-Semitism workshop for its students for $500. Allow a child in need to obtain a two-week scholarship at the JCC SummerPlace camp for $1000.
$30 purchases school equipment for three immigrant elementary school students. $60 provides an organized social activity to 3 immigrant junior high school students at risk of dropping out. $100 buys eyeglasses for one needy elderly person. Elementary school students and their parents have books and literacy workshops for $350. Fund a full mouth dental care for One needy senior citizen can receive full mouth dental care for $1000.
