Adult Jewish Education in Greater Stamford

The Institute for Advanced Jewish Learning (IAJL) is an exciting adult Jewish learning program of the BJE in partnership with area community organizations.  The program offers a high quality of Jewish learning with variety of mini-courses and seminars (evening and daytime) from September through June. The sessions are taught with the best faculty in town and are intellectually stimulating and pluralistic in nature. Adult learners are invited to explore issues and topics from Jewish philosophy, history and ethics, to Bible Study , Israel History, Prayer and more.  Click here to see the full program.

WEEKEND OF JEWISH LEARNING - NOVEMBER 19TH & 20TH

Tapestry, a program of the BJE and the JCC, is a community celebration of adult Jewish learning held annually in November. This year the program will take place on November 19th.  For a class list, click here.To register, click here.

On Sunday, November 20 at 8:00 p.m. the community will welcome Gil Hoffman, chief political correspondent for The Jerusalem Post, as he discusses, “What the Future Holds for Israel: An insider’s look at Israeli politics and the quest for peace in the Middle East.” To register, click here.
