Dedicated to strengthening and enhancing family life since 1976, Jewish Family Service offers a broad range of innovative programs and services designed to address contemporary problems and issues through counseling and therapy, direct services, crisis intervention, education, information and referral.
Whether you are caring for an aging parent, going through a difficult transition, having concerns about your child, or simply require supportive assistance with issues of daily living,
JFS is here to help.
Programs and Services include:
• Counseling and Therapy – individual, family, group, children and adolescents
• Comprehensive Geriatric Services – home companions, home health aides, case
management, individual counseling, support for care-givers
• Case Management – general support services, housing assistance, emergency and food
assistance
• College Counseling – consulting services for families with teens contemplating college and
informative workshops on college selection
• Jewish Family Life Education – programs include groups on bereavement, divorce,
parenting challenges, teen issues, singles, care-givers support
• Employment and Training – services to underemployed or displaced older adults, as well as
those wishing to change jobs; computer training
• Information and Referral - answers to questions or referrals on various topics such as
medical issues, housing, legal aid, finances, unemployment benefits, and social security
• Summer Camp Scholarships to Jewish day or overnight camps
• Kosher Food Pantry
